The high pastures, covered with flowers, provide the nectar which our bees collect. They give us delicious honey, flavoured with the countryside, which you can enjoy during your visit. Our bees are from this region. They are small, black, workers and nervous. In spring we put boxes on the hives which we harvest in autumn. The honey is extracted cold. It crystallises towards Christmas and this process preserves all its goodness. |
To conclude, your journey to Ariège will revive you with its subtle scents of acacia, dandelion, lime, chestnuts and all the other wild plants and trees….'Arièjo moun païs' |
